This should take up all the slack in the wire. Took the wire sticking out of the center bead, threaded it through the loop that was just created at the other end of the wire and ran the center bead wire back through the center bead and pulled both ends tight. Then I took the first crimped end (that had held the beads in place while they were being stung via the opposite end) and ran the wire through the beads that were closest to it until a small loop remained and the end of the wire emerged between some beads a little ways in. Pulled the wire back out of the center bead and crimped it at the mark, unfolded the crimp, ran the wire through the center bead so the crimped spot emerged. Once all the beads are on the wire I ran the end of the wire through the center bead and marked where it emerged on the other side with no slack in the wire. At this point it looked like a simple sting of beads. I added beads till I had the size I wanted for one loop then put in a center bead, counted and added that many more for the other side. This held the beads in place as I strung them. I stood looking at the wire in Joann's for ages before choosing this one because it was bronze colored and I figured any gaps would blend in with my hair.įirst I cut a section of wire longer than I figured I needed it to be, then at one end I folded about two inches back and crimped it so that the wire doubled back. I have very very little experience with beads of any sort so there are probably better ways of doing it than I did. Kaelee, I'm on the way to clear out inbox.Hooray! I'd made a post on how I made mine, and I was able to find it again!
